The job by Majestic Builders was completed within the time frame given. Chuck arrived
and started work promptly. On one of the days that I was able to stay home with my
son, Chuck was very accommodating to my son’s (2.5 yrs old) constant attempts at
trying to help him with his job. He was very friendly and showed my son how each
tool worked and compared my son’s play tools with his work tools. The days I was
not able to see Chuck in action, he had cleaned up and made sure there was no debris
for my son or daughter to get into. He was very open to help us with design insights
as well as help us with any other questions we had. -
Chuck Hinaman was very professional and gave great attention to detail. He designed
and built a 10’x10’ entertainment center for a 70” TV and home theatre equipment.
He also installed ceiling fans and electrical for my garage. He suggested many helpful
solutions for our situation as my spouse is handicapped and uses a wheelchair. Majestic
Builders quality of workmanship was beyond our expectations. -
We had our kitchen remodeled, new flooring and cabinets installed, new lighting added, and some alterations done by Majestic Builders. They were very honest and personable. I have been using the services of Majestic Builders (Chuck Hinaman) for 20 years
now. I have always been satisfied with the work. Chuck is one of those guys that
takes pride in his work and never leaves things unfinished. His work looks professional
and stands up to the test of time.He often has innovative suggestions and never gets
offended if I don't take him up on them, which I often do. It was Chuck's idea to
convert my unused fireplace into a built-

Easily the best experience we've had with any contractor. We'd been planning this project for a long time and Chuck (Majestic Builders) really listened to our ideas and goals. He didn't have that common attitude of "I know best because I've done this dozens of times" yet was very willing to give us feedback and ideas of his own. We were using Ikea cabinets and wanted someone familiar with Ikea assembly and installation.We were relieved to find out Chuck had done several Ikea kitchens in the past. He sent us the most comprehensive, detailed bid we had ever seen. It was obvious he had listened carefully to our description of the project. In addition, Chuck gave us a long list of references and everyone we called loved this guy. When we started the job he kept us informed and left a note with any questions on placement of things or other details. Chuck disposed of the old cabinets, counters and appliances. He maintained a surprisingly clean, neat worksite. The work progressed quickly and ended up costing less than we'd expected. Chuck was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. His work was beautiful with great attention to detail. The molding, panels and toekicks on the cabinets looked better than anything at the Ikea showroom. Chuck was enthusiastic, took pride in his work and was obviously pleased with how the kitchen turned out. So are we! The kitchen is beautiful, and we didn't spend a lot of money, but got a high end look. Anyone would be lucky to have Chuck handle their project.

Chuck is the best contractor experience I've ever had. Unlike the other contractors, he wrote out everything that we wanted done, gave us an estimate on how long it'd take and how much it would cost. While I was still showing him what we needed done, he fixed one item and told us how to do another ourselves. Amazing! While I had to wait 6 weeks for him to be available, he was worth it. He comes when he says he will, brings the right materials and tools, stays calm amid chaos, and does high quality work. He even remembers to do things that we forgot we asked for. Once I save up a few bucks, I'll have him back to work on my kitchen and bathrooms!

We bought a house in Santa Rosa for our retirement. We live and work in Fresno. There were a number of changes we wanted to make before we move in. We were very worried about working with a contractor 240 miles away. We were very lucky to have Chuck on our list of potential contractors. His quotation for the original project, renovating and upgrading the master bathroom, was presented on a very professional spreadsheet. After meeting with him, we had no hesitation in accepting his quote. Chuck constantly upgraded his spreadsheets so that we were constantly aware of the costs we were incurring. He was very responsive to emails and rarely let more than a few hours go by without getting in touch.
We quickly found that Chuck was a reliable, skilled contractor who took pride in his work. He was very flexible and, as we dithered about some changes, he took them in his stride. He also made suggestions in a way that did not give offense and allowed us to accept or change them without hurt feelings. We had contracted a painter to paint the exterior of the house who did a great job. We also wanted to paint the house inside. Chuck offered a quote but made it clear that he would not be hurt if we awarded the contract to someone whose primary expertise was painting as they were often able to price projects more competitively. The painter won the contract, but Chuck worked very amicably with him and they helped each other out when needed.
You will have to go a long, long way if you want a contractor with the expertise, care, honesty and integrity who moves projects to
completion by deadline and at a reasonable cost. Moreover he is very personable and very easy to work with. Chuck is a jewel!
